Today, we have three great ways to come here: ferry, bridge and plane.
|
(1) The Confederation Bridge spans the Northumberland Strait between Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island and Cape Jourimain, New Brunswick. You can drive across the world's longest bridge over ice covered water, (12.9 kilometers), 24 hours a day, 365 day a year, in approximately 12 minutes.
(2) Northumberland Ferries Ltd. operate between Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island and Caribou, Nova Scotia, offering you a relaxing 1 1/4 hour cruise across the Northumberland Strait between May and December. Click here for a Ferry Schedule or call 1-888-249-SAIL.
(3) Time flys when you're having fun, so why shouldn't you? You have a choice of 3 convenient airports. These are located in Charlottetown PEI, Moncton NB, and Halifax NS.
Here on Prince Edward Island, the Charlottetown Airport is serviced by Air Canada, Prince Edward Air, Continental Airlines, North West Air, and Westjet Airlines, with daily connecting flights with Halifax, Montreal, and Toronto. Private Jets can land at the Airport in Summerside, PEI. Charter flights are also a time saving option. Who wants to spend their precious vacation time travelling?
